Recently, the National Mine Safety Administration issued Document Kuang'an [2026] No. 79, publishing the "Measures for the Standardization Grading of Coal Mine Safety Production" and the "Basic Requirements and Scoring Methods for the Standardization of Coal Mine Safety Production", further consolidating the foundation of coal mine safety production and comprehensively enhancing the safety assurance capability of the coal mine sector.

This document is a revised and updated version, and the notice specifies that the new regulations take effect from the date of issuance. At the same time, the "Measures for the Assessment and Grading of the Standardization Management System of Coal Mine Safety Production" and the "Basic Requirements and Scoring Methods for the Standardization Management System of Coal Mine Safety Production" issued by the National Mine Safety Administration on October 16, 2024, are repealed.

The document is issued to the competent departments for the standardization of coal mine safety production in all coal-producing provinces, autonomous regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, all provincial-level supervision bureaus and relevant central enterprises, requiring all units to implement it accordingly. The implementation of the new standardization document will further regulate the grading, assessment and scoring of coal mine safety production, consolidate the main responsibilities of coal mine enterprises, and provide a new execution basis for safety production management in the mining industry.
